Album update from Nicky

The backing tracks for A New Ocean are mostly completed. Additional overdubs were added by Klaus Henatsch Keyboard wizard from Nektar/Jane at the Kosmisches musikzentrum in Hedersleben Germany. Due to the current lockdown the final overdubs, vocals, guitar etc. will have to wait until a later date and speaking of the KMZ in Hedersleben, of course the summer jam/party is cancelled this year. Check out the new paint job in the studio room!

Nicky Garratt

A New Ocean (Hedersleben 5), is a Krautrock album more in common with Die Neuen Welten and Upgoer (Hedersleben 1 and 2), than The Fall Of Chronopolis and Orbit (Hedersleben 3 and 4). The title track, like Zu Den Neuen Welten from Hedersleben 2, is a long affair. It features Klaus on both Farfisa and Hammond organs as well as an abundance of analog synths from Jordan. Jai Young has done his usually stellar job engineering as well as some additional keyboards. We even cranked up the Hammond with real Leslie cabinet.
